The 8.25" IFS diff uses the SAME pinion bearings as the 10 bolt. It is also assumed that you have geared your rear axle FIRST using my How-To for rear differentials, and have access to the Yukon Gear Install Manual as it illustrates proper set-up patterns and has the torque specs you will need.Īlong with the tools mentioned in the first how-to, it will be advantageous to have a race driver kit, 1/2" power drill, all thread, an ID Bearing Puller, slide hammer kit, and this spanner tool - (Thanks Country Boy).ġ.
